Vacature Quality Control & Packaging Coordinator

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and guide our team of QC & Packaging engineers and FCA officer.
Liaison with parts suppliers, both internally as external, for all Parts QC, Packaging and FCA matter.
Communication with Nissan Automotive Europe (NAE), APO, Suppliers & NMPC operations regarding NMPC Packaging, Quality and FCA projects.
Initiate QC, Packaging & FCA improvements projects.
Coordinate third party packaging operations (3PL), both in quality and lead-time performance, including cost control. Initiate cost reductions where possible.
Issue environmental, packaging related reports. Follow-up of Classification, Labelling, Packaging (CLP) / Reach and Dangerous Goods regulations.
Support implementation of new “Alias” Warehouse Management system.

ADDITIONAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for individual projects.
Support specs setting per part in the Nissan Europe Parts System (NEPS).
Report packaging cost reductions to Global Parts Logistics Engineering (GPLE).
Support NMPC departments (Traffic & Customs, Customer Service Group, Claims Department, Inventory Control/ Planning, VOR team, Quality Assurance, Warehouse Operations, REACH team)
with various requests.
Act as company coach for interns, University and internal.
Support Total delivered Cost (TDC) projects as part of the total Logistic cost.

Profiel Quality Control & Packaging Coordinator

PROFILE

Education level; MBO - HBO (logistics/technical) or equivalent and minimum of 3-5 years working experience in Logistics and or Parts Production environment.
Experience with Quality Control & Packaging of technical (preferable automotive) products.
Quality minded, knowledge of quality and or production standards.
Hands on mentality/pro-active, take initiative.
Good communication skills, open mind, being a team-player.
Preferable have experience in leading a team.
Being a Motivator, Inspirer & Coach.
Good computer skills e.g., Excel and Access/ Analyzing tools e.g., database creation.
English in written and verbal of good level.
Willing to travel.
